The Atlantic City Free Public Library
The NJ State Library's Library Equal Access Program (LEAP) provides free classes for individuals with low vision who want to learn about the assistive tools available on iPhones and iPads. Registration priority is given to those who are 55 and older.

Beginners English class for non-native, English speakers. Classes include interactive learning activities that focus on increasing the listening, speaking, reading, grammar, and writing skills of the students.
Classes meet using Zoom.

Wednesdays 7 pm - 8:15 pm
Fridays 10 am - 11:15 am

Class participants will learn the ancient mind, body, spirit practice of Qigong (pronounced chee-kung). Through easy-to-learn breathing techniques, stretches and gentle flowing movements, participants will learn to keep the Qi (life force energy) flowing, helping to promote relaxation, balance and flexibility. Class is open to adults at all fitness levels. No experience required.
Fresh Start @ Your Library began as a statewide library reentry program focused on reconnecting returning citizens with their communities at public libraries. The Atlantic City Library has a social worker available to help connect citizens with the resources they need.

These meetings provide a forum for stakeholders to come together and share information and resources for the benefit of the justice-involved population. All are welcome to attend.
