Computer Training for Job Seekers

Free Computer Training and Job Skills Lab at the Library Learning Lab Every Wednesday

Free Classes include: Weekly Job Skills Lab, Basic Computer Skills, Keyboarding Skills, Email Setup & Practice, Microsoft Word for Resumes, Google Maps & Google Docs, and Smartphone Basics

All Computer Training sessions are free and will be held in our new Learning Lab on the first floor of the Main Library. No registration required, first come, first served. 

Walk-In Job Skills Lab (EVERY Wednesday) 11:00am - 1:00pm: July 11, 18, 25, and August 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29.

The Atlantic City Free Public Library offers a Walk-In Job Skills Lab.
 
Every Wednesday at 11 am.
  March 7, 14, 21,  and 28, and April 4, 11,18 and 25.
This lab provides assistance to Atlantic City Library members who need help with job related tasks, such as job searches on the web, updating a resume, creating an email address, and completing an online employment application. Staff members will guide you through these tasks, and provide assistance.
 
WHEN: Wednesdays from 11am-1pm in the new Learning Lab on the first floor next to the Help Desk.
 

WorkAC Helps Connect Residents with Jobs

WorkAC helps connect Atlantic County residents with jobs.

Job seekers should bring basic identification, a resume and any documentation they might need for a job application to the office.

WorkAC office is located at the college’s Worthington Atlantic City Campus at 1535 Bacharach Blvd., Room W105, in the Caesars Entertainment Hospitality and Gaming Studies Wing. Office hours are Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon and 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., with extra hours until 6:30 p.m. Thursdays.
